TL;DR
HR Coordinator (HR Operations): Managing day-to-day human resources administration and employee support for Advanced Health with an accent on Workday data management, compliance, and benefits coordination. Focus on streamlining onboarding/offboarding processes, ensuring regulatory adherence, and providing front-line support for employee inquiries.
Location: Must be based in Chicago, IL (Willis Tower). Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Salary: $20–$23 per hour.

What you will do
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and attendance.
- Manage the full lifecycle of employee records in Workday, including onboarding and offboarding steps.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations and maintain office posters.
- Process new hire background checks and verify employment documentation.
- Handle intake for Leave of Absence and ADA accommodation requests.
- Support employee engagement activities and digitize legacy personnel records.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa or residency sponsorship.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Human Resources role or relevant HR education.
- Knowledge of HR administration principles, including ADA and FMLA requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and relate to diverse personalities.
Nice to have
- Prior experience with benefits administration.
- Experience with Leave of Absence (LOA) administration.
- Bachelor's degree.
