TL;DR

HR Coordinator (HR Operations): Managing day-to-day human resources administration and employee support for hirify.global Advanced Health with an accent on Workday data management, compliance, and benefits coordination. Focus on streamlining onboarding/offboarding processes, ensuring regulatory adherence, and providing front-line support for employee inquiries.

Location: Must be based in Chicago, IL (Willis Tower). Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Salary: $20–$23 per hour.

What you will do

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and attendance.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of employee records in Workday, including onboarding and offboarding steps.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations and maintain office posters.
  • Process new hire background checks and verify employment documentation.
  • Handle intake for Leave of Absence and ADA accommodation requests.
  • Support employee engagement activities and digitize legacy personnel records.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa or residency sponsorship.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Human Resources role or relevant HR education.
  • Knowledge of HR administration principles, including ADA and FMLA requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and relate to diverse personalities.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with benefits administration.
  • Experience with Leave of Absence (LOA) administration.
  • Bachelor's degree.
