What you will do

  • Perform quality audits at job sites to ensure route work is completed efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Conduct NIM job audits post-construction and modernization to identify reliability issues and provide feedback for future installations.
  • Provide on-the-job training and troubleshooting assistance to field mechanics.
  • Analyze accounting reports to review route profitability and call-back rates.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local elevator industry code requirements.
  • Provide technical input and cost calculations (labor and materials) to sales staff for repair bids.

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of the construction industry and general management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or at least 2 years of experience managing at a branch departmental level.
  • Ability to draft professional reports, contract proposals, and business correspondence.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
  • Must be located in or able to work in the Baltimore, MD area.
