What you will do

• Design and implement large-scale distributed systems for processing and serving high volumes of data with very low latency.
• Drive the technical strategy for product search, discovery, relevance, and ranking for sponsored products.
• Build the sponsored advertising platform from the ground up using rapid prototyping and iterative development.
• Mentor engineers and foster a strong engineering culture to raise the bar of the organization.
• Analyze engineering metrics to inform leadership and drive data-driven decisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and AWS for building scalable cloud-based solutions.
• Expertise in designing distributed, low-latency, and high-throughput systems.
• Experience working in an agile environment with CI/CD.

Nice to have

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• Domain expertise in digital advertising or marketing technologies.
• Proven experience taking a project from inception through launch.
