Salary: $146,700 - $230,300 (depending on pay zone)

What you will do

• Design and optimize scalable backend storage solutions on AWS infrastructure.
• Develop distributed storage systems and APIs for mission-critical applications.
• Drive performance tuning, data modeling, and cost optimization for AWS storage services like DynamoDB and EBS.
• Collaborate with architects and SREs to define technical roadmaps and improve storage efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production incidents related to data integrity and latency spikes.
• Mentor junior engineers and advocate for CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS storage technologies (DynamoDB, EBS, EFS, FSx, or Glacier).
• 3+ years of experience in designing distributed systems or high-scale backend services.
• Strong programming skills in Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
