What you will do

• Define and lead the technical vision and architectural roadmap for the entire Ads platform to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
• Transform complex product requirements into robust, production-ready solutions in collaboration with Product, Data Science, and Analytics teams.
• Establish high engineering standards for code quality, testability, and observability across the organization.
• Guide technical development of Java backend microservices and modern React web applications.
• Mentor and coach engineers, leading technical design reviews and promoting sound decision-making.
• Evaluate and incorporate AI/ML capabilities to enhance the strategic value of market intelligence data products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, design patterns).
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical strategy as a Principal/Staff Engineer working with Java and Spring Boot.
• 5+ years of experience designing and scaling distributed systems and high-volume transaction applications.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS and Terraform.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.

Nice to have

• Experience with full-stack development, specifically modern web applications using React.
