What you will do

• Lead complex engineering engagements, managing budgets, timelines, and client expectations.
• Conceptualize system designs and determine requirements for broadcast and media solutions.
• Develop and approve Bill of Materials (BOM) and detailed construction drawing packages.
• Provide technical expertise for audio, video, and control system integration.
• Test, commission, and configure subsystems during project deployment.
• Mentor junior design engineers and provide milestone updates to operations leadership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in the broadcast and media industry.
• Must reside in the NYC/NE US region to support regional clients.
• Demonstrated knowledge of broadcast technology, including SDI, SMPTE 2110, UHD, and HDR.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, including routing, VLANs, and QoS.
• Proven experience with the full project lifecycle from schematic design to construction documentation.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to job sites.
