What you will do

• Define SCADA architecture, standards, data modeling, alarm strategies, graphics philosophy, and performance expectations.
• Lead development of SCADA code, scripts, templates, and reusable components across platforms.
• Serve as technical lead for multiple projects, partnering with PMs and engineers on planning, sequencing, and risk mitigation.
• Review designs, configurations, perform peer reviews, ensure cybersecurity and alignment with standards.
• Support FAT, IST, commissioning, cutovers, and resolve critical issues.
• Mentor engineers, develop documentation, and promote knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 6-8+ years engineering SCADA control systems in mission-critical, industrial, or infrastructure environments
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing SCADA systems (not just configuring)
• Strong knowledge of SCADA architecture, data modeling, alarm management, HMI/graphics, system integration, communications, commissioning workflows
• Ability to review and improve complex implementations, act as technical authority
• Strong communication for non-technical stakeholders; handle multiple projects in fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel domestically (up to 30%)
• Bachelor’s in Engineering (Electrical, Controls, Automation, etc.) preferred or equivalent experience

• SCADA platform certifications (Ignition, AVEVA/Wonderware, Siemens, Rockwell)
• Ongoing professional development in control systems or mission-critical infrastructure
