What you will do

  • Enforce OSHA and local environmental health and safety compliance through regular site assessments.
  • Apply electrical industry standards (NFPA, NESC, ASTM, ANSI) to high-risk task planning.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive Project Safety Roadmaps tailored to specific project phases.
  • Lead root-cause investigations for incidents and near-misses to eliminate operational risks.
  • Manage occupational injury cases from initial response through return-to-work coordination.
  • Deliver site-specific safety orientations, toolbox talks, and CPR/First Aid training.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of active construction safety experience.
  • Valid OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required.
  • Active CPR/First Aid certification required.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license with a satisfactory MVR check.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to navigate active outdoor construction sites and lift up to 40 lbs.

Nice to have

  • Experience in electrical utility infrastructure, substations, or transmission/distribution.
  • BCSP credentials such as CHST, ASP, or CSP.
  • CPR/First Aid Trainer designation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Construction Management, or Engineering.
