Programmatic EHS Manager - Low Voltage Deployment (AI Data Centers)

Location: Remote - United States. Travel: approximately 40–50% for site audits, project kickoffs, incident response, and contractor oversight.

Salary: $75,000–$95,000 USD base salary per year, with potential bonus, equity, and/or commission programs.

What you will do

• Create, implement, and manage the multi-site EHS program for low-voltage work, including policies, procedures, safety plans, metrics, and stop-work requirements.
• Set standards for confined-space entry, work at heights, energized work, LOTO, MEWPs, firestopping, fiber handling, dust control, and cable material handling.
• Build and deliver safety training for employees, contract employees, and installation contractors; verify confined-space competency and maintain training records.
• Review contractor safety programs, manage prequalification and onboarding, track performance, and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate Nscale requirements with general contractors, site owners, and other trade programs, including permits, orientations, bridging documents, and occasional site coverage.
• Lead inspections, audits, incident and near-miss investigations, OSHA recordkeeping, CAPA, environmental reporting, and monthly or quarterly safety metrics.

Requirements

• 7+ years of EHS experience, including 3+ years in construction, data centers, mission-critical environments, telecom, or electrical/low-voltage work.
• Experience building and managing multi-site EHS programs covering employees, contract employees, and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1926, including Subpart AA for confined spaces, NFPA 70E, and construction safety practices.
• Hands-on experience with permit-required confined-space programs, atmospheric monitoring, entry permits, rescue planning, and field audits.
• Experience coordinating safety programs on multi-employer construction sites and managing contractors, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and OSHA recordkeeping.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification and the ability to train field crews, influence contractors, and communicate with senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• CSP, ASP, CHST, or equivalent professional safety certification.
• Confined-space entry trainer, competent-person, or rescue certification.
• Experience with hyperscale, cloud, HPC, or AI infrastructure deployments.
• Familiarity with ISNetworld, Avetta, EHS management software, ISO 45001, or ISO 14001.
• OSHA 500/510 trainer authorization.
