Solutions Engineer (SaaS): Partnering with sales teams to design and execute technical solutions for institutional real estate clients with an accent on product demonstrations, proof-of-concept design, and technical advisory. Location: Must be based in New York City, NY (Hybrid: 4 days in office)
Compensation: $164,000–$182,000 OTE (Base + Variable)

What you will do
- Partner with Account Executives as a technical advisor throughout the full sales cycle.
- Lead tailored product demonstrations and technical deep-dives for sophisticated real estate teams.
- Design and execute proofs-of-concept using real customer data and workflows.
- Act as the technical voice of the customer to influence product and engineering roadmaps.
- Develop and refine the Solutions Engineering playbook, including discovery frameworks and demo environments.
- Integrate AI tools into daily workflows to research accounts and sharpen customer materials.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or technical pre-sales at a B2B SaaS company.
- Strong proficiency with REST APIs, SSO/SAML, data integration patterns, and enterprise SaaS architectures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical IT directors and non-technical executives.
- Experience with SQL, spreadsheets, and structured data analysis for POC environments.
- Consistent and deliberate use of AI tools for recurring work tasks.
- Must be able to work from the New York City office 4 days per week.
Nice to have
- Experience selling into commercial real estate or real estate private equity.
- Background in building reusable demo environments or technical battlecards.
- Familiarity with the institutional real estate investment lifecycle.
