What you will do
- Lead a diverse team of software engineers in developing event-driven, cloud-native solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into scalable technical architecture.
- Mentor and coach engineers to foster career growth and technical leadership.
- Drive agile methodologies and continuous improvement of engineering practices and developer productivity.
- Own critical systems end-to-end, ensuring high availability, reliability, and production excellence.
- Participate in on-call rotations following the YBIYRI (you-build-it-you-run-it) ethos.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a leader in software engineering with a focus on building high-impact teams.
- Strong proficiency in the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Technical expertise in guiding complex architectural discussions and trade-off decisions.
- Ideally experienced with C#/.NET, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model (10+ days/month in-office).
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across distributed global teams.
Nice to have
- Expertise with Azure services (Function Apps, Service Bus).
- Experience in the FinTech or treasury management domain.
