Manager, Software Engineering (Fintech)

Location: Remote within the United States or from Figma hubs in San Francisco, California, and New York, New York. In-person onboarding is required.

Annual base salary: $258,000–$376,000 USD.

What you will do

• Lead the engineering roadmap for checkout, invoicing, pricing and packaging, metered billing, and subscription lifecycle management.
• Partner with Product and Design to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
• Work with Accounting, Data, Marketing, GTM, and engineering teams to solve complex billing and payments problems.
• Hire, manage, support, and develop engineers, including staff-level engineers.
• Build accountability, trust, and a positive engineering environment in partnership with other leaders.
• Support inclusion and diversity initiatives through hiring, community events, and cross-functional programs.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience hiring and leading teams as an engineering manager.
• Ability to develop short- and long-term engineering and product roadmaps.
• Rigorous thinking and effective decision-making in cross-functional environments.
• Experience with billing, SaaS monetization, and/or payments infrastructure.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States or from a Figma US hub.

• Experience working effectively in collaborative, cross-team environments.
• Experience building and leading geographically distributed teams across time zones and locations.
