What you will do

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures for stratospheric balloons and avionics.
• Construct, build, and validate new machinery and equipment for the factory.
• Conduct tests and inspections to ensure products meet strict quality standards.
• Collaborate with automation and process engineers to solve production problems and recommend improvements.
• Train production staff on new equipment usage and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing programs.

Requirements

• Proficiency in fabrication, general assembly, and trades such as machining, welding, and use of shop power tools.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with machinery setup and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance.
• Proficiency with CAD, MRP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Must be located near Denver, CO.

Nice to have

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field.
• Startup experience.
• Experience manufacturing soft goods.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma techniques and tools.
