What you will do

• Create and maintain production schedules that align materials, resources, and labor with production goals.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and scheduling best practices across production planning processes.
• Monitor production progress, adjust schedules to address delays, and maintain accurate production and material records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align schedules with business objectives.
• Analyze production data, present findings to stakeholders, and recommend improvements that increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of related experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace or automotive.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, leading scheduling best practices, and managing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Advanced skills in ERP, MRP, Excel, and SQL, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of capacity planning, resource allocation, root-cause analysis, and quality management standards such as ISO 9001.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• APICS certification.
• Experience with Python, R, MS Project, Power BI, or Tableau.
