What you will do

• Support construction projects at the Knolls Site.
• Develop and define project scope in coordination with sponsors.
• Create specifications, cost estimates, and perform drawing reviews.
• Provide technical engineering support during the construction phase for utility and building projects.
• Oversee architectural engineering firms in the development of concept designs and construction documents.
• Coordinate directly with facility staff and contractors.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• US citizenship is required.
• Active DOE L clearance or DOD equivalent is required.
• Experience developing contract documents, calculations, and cost estimates.
• Working knowledge of building codes and standards.
• Experience in construction administration, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and inspections.

Nice to have

• EIT certificate or P.E. License.
• Engineering consulting experience.
• Working knowledge of the NEC.
