What you will do

• Develop power distribution solutions and safety circuitry for building systems (AC medium voltage to DC lower voltage).
• Plan and execute hardware development for multiple concurrent instrument projects from concept through production release.
• Design and review SOLIDWORKS electrical drawings and cable harnesses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop architectures, system designs, and specifications for new products.
• Work with safety teams to review designs and ensure system certifications before production.
• Engage with customers during projects to ensure alignment and meeting of requirements.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience, or M.S. with 1+ years.
• Experience in developing system manufacturing and testing equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical codes including Semi S2, S8, NFPA, and NEC.
• Understanding of networks, subnets, and IP assignment.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship available.
• Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
