Senior Performance Marketing Manager (Retail Media): Managing end-to-end setup, monitoring, and optimization of Retail Media campaigns across Sponsored Products, Paid Social, and Programmatic channels with an accent on technical execution and performance tracking. Focus on optimizing ROAS, ACOS, and CVR through audience refinements and creative testing.

Location: Cologne, Germany (Hybrid; option to work from anywhere in the EU for up to 20 days per year)

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end setup, activation, and optimization of campaigns on Meta, DV360, and Sponsored Products platforms.
  • Translate media plans into high-quality technical setups, including targeting, bidding strategies, and attribution logic.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize performance KPIs such as ROAS, ACOS, CPC, CPM, CPA, and CVR.
  • Collaborate with Campaign Managers, Ad Tech, and Data teams to ensure accurate tracking and transparent reporting.
  • Develop and maintain operational best practices, playbooks, and activation standards for the team.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, paid media, or ad operations.
  • Strong expertise in Retail Media platforms, Paid Social, and Programmatic Buying (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, DV360, Amazon Advertising).
  • Ability to turn performance data and tracking insights into measurable business impact.
  • Fluency in both German and English for collaboration with international stakeholders.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the Cologne office.
