Salary: $245,000 – $330,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Lead a full-stack engineering team focused on the buyer experience and post-purchase support.
• Scale the Seller Provided Support (SPS) product to all sellers on the platform.
• Partner with Product, Design, and platform teams to design scalable systems and intelligent tooling.
• Own business outcomes, technical strategy, and execution for the buyer support experience.
• Drive measurable improvements in refund rates, CSAT, and overall product adoption.
• Grow and mentor a team of 6–12 engineers while maintaining high delivery speed and quality.

Requirements

• 8+ years in product or platform engineering.
• 3+ years of experience managing teams of 6–12 engineers.
• Proven track record of building high-impact, end-to-end product experiences and scaling backend systems.
• Strong product instinct with the ability to translate business problems into robust technical solutions.
• Builder mindset with the ability to lead system design and make pragmatic technical trade-offs.
• Must live within commuting distance of NYC, San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Seattle.

Nice to have

• Experience with messaging systems or support platforms.
• Familiarity with Python, Elixir, or Postgres.
