What you will do

• Author and evolve global policies and frameworks covering commerce, buyer/seller protections, fraud, and trust and safety.
• Use data, trend analysis, and structured problem solving to identify emerging risks and evaluate the operational impact of policy proposals.
• Apply a European lens to global policy development to ensure frameworks reflect cultural nuances and reinforce trust.
• Resolve escalated policy questions and provide principled recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience working across multiple regions or markets balancing consistency with local nuance.
• Meaningful leadership experience in trust and safety, marketplace, or platform governance policy at a tech or ecommerce company.
• Must live within commuting distance of hubs in Dublin, London, or Berlin.
• Fluency in modern AI tools, including LLMs, to improve policy development and analysis.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate policy rationale and trade-offs.
