TL;DR

Strategic Development Manager (Ecommerce): Managing a scaled book of high-potential sellers to drive growth and account health with an accent on data-driven coaching, partnership management, and category strategy. Focus on leveraging AI-powered insights to automate outreach and optimizing seller performance at scale.

Location: Must live within commuting distance of San Francisco, New York City, or Los Angeles hubs (Hybrid)

Salary: $167K – $185K + Equity

What you will do

  • Manage a scaled portfolio of up to 200 high-potential sellers using a data-informed approach.
  • Drive account health and growth by leveraging AI tools (Salesforce, ChatGPT, Gong) to identify trends and automate communication.
  • Execute scaled outreach campaigns and monthly education seminars to improve seller business fundamentals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Category Leads, Marketing, and Product teams to surface seller trends and align interventions.
  • Maintain high data hygiene in Salesforce to track outreach, treatments, and seller milestones.
  • Develop and share scalable best practices and communication templates to strengthen team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in account management, partnerships, client success, or operations.
  • Background in ecommerce, marketplaces, or creator platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage large, complex portfolios and drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Comfort with AI tools (ChatGPT, Salesforce automation, Gong AI) to improve efficiency.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong command of metrics to diagnose performance.
  • Must be based within commuting distance of the SF, NYC, or LA hubs.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting SMBs or creators through digital or AI-driven programs.
  • Background in operational improvement, training, or coaching in high-volume environments.
  • Passion for live commerce and categories like collectibles, sports, and fashion.
