TL;DR

Senior Manager, Business Development (eCommerce): Owning the full lifecycle of new high-value partner relationships on Amazon platforms with an accent on advanced business audits, customized strategies, and deal execution up to $10M-$100MM. Focus on proactive pipeline generation, pitch development, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration to drive revenue growth.

Location: Must reside in one of the following US states: CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI. Up to 30% travel required. Sponsorship for work visa unavailable.

Salary: $121,000-$171,000 + 50% Variable

What you will do

  • Conduct research, analysis, and prospecting to generate new business pipeline for key target brands.
  • Perform comprehensive audits on content, media, retail, and operations with actionable recommendations.
  • Manage full pitch process, develop customized strategies, and present to prospective partners.
  • Own client communication, relationship building, contract negotiations, and onboarding.
  • Monitor sales pipeline, forecasts, and metrics; contribute insights on industry trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years in customer-facing business development, sales, brand management, or consulting in CPG, eCommerce, retail.
  • Proven track record closing high-value deals ($10M+) and owning full sales cycle.
  • Recent experience (last 18–24 months) managing Amazon businesses (Seller, Vendor, Advertising).
  • Experience conducting content, media, retail/operations audits.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, relationship-building, and autonomous ownership skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.

Nice to have

  • Experience in financial analysis, inventory planning, product/project management, marketing, consulting, negotiation, or supply chain.
