TL;DR

Location: United States - Shakopee, MN (GHQ). Flexible options (remote, hybrid, or on-site) are available.

Salary: $120,144–$176,211 per year

What you will do

  • Develop and implement import customs policies in line with global requirements, local regulations, and corporate standards.
  • Lead the trade operations team by providing technical direction, managing hiring, and handling performance management.
  • Oversee global broker management performance, including compliance controls and operational metrics.
  • Manage duty reduction programs, including free trade agreements, duty drawback, USMCA, and GSP.
  • Partner with Legal and Trade Compliance to evaluate import risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Facilitate the resolution of regulatory challenges through relationships with agencies such as CBP and FDA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related or relevant field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Compliance, Import/Export Operations, and/or Logistics.
  • Customs Broker License.
  • Knowledge of HTS classifications, ACE, ATA Carnets, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations.
  • Operational knowledge of Other Govt Agencies (OGA) and import processing functions.
  • Must be able to travel as needed.
