Location: Onsite in San Francisco, CA (5 days a week in office)

Salary: $250,000 – $290,000 base + equity

What you will do

• Lead a team of systems and automation engineers focusing on IAM, SaaS lifecycle, and AI-enabled operations.
• Define and own the technical roadmap for the Enterprise Engineering pillar, aligning it with AI/agent landscapes.
• Architect reliable integrations for HRIS, identity, and MDM using API-first design for AI agent interoperability.
• Design and implement AI agent capabilities within IT, from LLM-powered support to autonomous workflow execution.
• Partner with Security, DevOps, and People teams to ensure identity and access management is secure and audit-ready.
• Establish engineering standards, documentation practices, and runbooks to ensure transparency and maintainability.

Requirements

• 7+ years in IT or platform engineering with at least 2-3 years of technical team leadership.
• Deep hands-on experience with Okta, SSO/SAML/SCIM, and lifecycle automation.
• Strong background in SaaS administration and MDM platforms (Jamf preferred).
• Ability to build and maintain automation using scripting, APIs, and workflow orchestration.
• Hands-on engagement with AI/LLM technologies and an architectural mindset for AI agent interaction with enterprise systems.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in San Francisco (5 days a week).

Nice to have

• Experience deploying AI agents or LLM-based automation in IT operations.
• Familiarity with RAG architectures, function calling, and AI agent frameworks.
• Experience with Workday integrations or HRIS-to-IT automation pipelines.
• Knowledge of zero-trust architectures (ZTNA, SASE).
• Background in M&A IT integration.
