What you will do

• Lead engineering teams building platform capabilities using hirify.global bureau and 3rd party data.
• Oversee the architecture and implementation of real-time, low-latency APIs supporting millions of daily transactions.
• Integrate AI/GenAI technologies including LLM-powered services, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Define the long-term vision and roadmap for the API platform, focusing on modernization and AI-enablement.
• Establish AI/LLM-specific evaluation harnesses for prompt regression and hallucination detection.
• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Data Science teams to align technical execution with business goals.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in engineering leadership roles.
• Hands-on experience delivering AI/ML or GenAI projects in production environments.
• Expertise in managing real-time, high-throughput API platforms and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and modern backend stacks (Java, Go, Python, or Node.js).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Claude Skills.
• Experience with ML Ops capabilities and Data Science.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message queues like Kafka.
• Background in test engineering and quality automation frameworks (JUnit, pytest, Playwright, k6).
