TL;DR

Clearing Operations Associate (Corporate Actions): Processing and reconciling domestic and international corporate actions for all asset types including equities, fixed income, and options with an accent on distributions, reorganizations, and redemptions. Focus on validating event details with external vendors, reconciling suspense accounts, and collaborating with engineering to automate clearing processes.

Location: Remote - Americas. Working hours: Overnight 2AM - 11AM EST

What you will do

• Process and own distributions, reorganizations, and redemptions across all supported asset types.
• Validate corporate action event details to minimize risk and firm exposure.
• Interface daily with vendors and custodians including DTC, OCC, BNY, and ICE.
• Balance and reconcile corporate actions booked against suspense and wash accounts.
• Research breaks and resolve open items to prevent aging.
• Collaborate with engineering to automate daily self-clearing processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Corporate Actions experience.
• Direct experience with DTC Corporate Action Web.
• Knowledge of ICE CA data, BNY processing, and OCC Option CA process.
• Understanding of U.S. securities back office operations and brokerage clearing.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Metabase, or other database coding languages.
• Must possess or obtain FINRA SIE within the first 180 days of employment.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in a business-related field.
• Series 7 certification.
• Experience with DTCC's portal and Slack.
