What you will do
- Own the monthly revenue close across subscription, consumption-based, and hybrid arrangements.
- Maintain deferred revenue waterfalls, schedules, and SSP allocation documentation.
- Analyze and flag revenue recognition implications on new contracts and non-standard deals.
- Partner with Rev Ops, Deal Desk, and Legal on deal reviews and contract terms.
- Prepare audit-ready workpapers and support the annual audit process.
- Implement AI-forward approaches to automate reconciliations, reporting, and entries.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of revenue accounting experience with ownership of month-end close.
- Expertise in subscription and consumption/usage-based billing models.
- Solid working knowledge of ASC 606 concepts (variable consideration, SSP, contract modifications).
- Experience collaborating with Legal, Rev Ops, and Deal Desk on contract reviews.
- Proven track record of building or optimizing revenue processes in growing environments.
- Must be based in the Americas.
Nice to have
- Experience with Metronome, Stripe Billing, or NetSuite.
- Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate financial operations.
