Salary: $190,000 – $220,000

What you will do

• Embed with internal teams to identify workflow friction and design multi-step, tool-using agents.
• Build and ship production-ready agentic workflows using foundation model APIs and frameworks like LangGraph.
• Define and implement evaluation harnesses, guardrails, and observability dashboards to ensure agent reliability.
• Shape the internal agent platform by establishing reusable skill patterns and orchestration approaches.
• Enable internal AI champions through workshops, documentation, and technical enablement sessions.
• Partner with the CTO on AI strategy and ensure all tools meet FERPA, COPPA, and PCI compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building production software.
• Must be based in the US.
• Direct experience building multi-step, tool-using LLM workflows in production.
• Strong fluency across the stack including scripting, API integrations, and data pipelines.
• Working knowledge of modern agent stacks (LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK, MCP).
• Exceptional communication skills to bridge the gap between technical implementation and business impact.

Nice to have

• Experience in K-12 edtech or other regulated verticals like fintech or healthcare.
• Fluency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AWS.
• Background in platform engineering or internal tools development.
