What you will do

• Lead the integration of AI capabilities and agentic workflows into product features and user experiences.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performing backend solutions using .NET Core, C#, and SQL.
• Modernize legacy architectures and optimize application operations to reduce tech debt.
• Evangelize AI-first development practices and mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Own the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering through testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-architected technical solutions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing SaaS web applications using .NET, C#, JavaScript, or Java.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production software, including prompt engineering and API integration with OpenAI or Azure OpenAI.
• Proven track record of modernizing legacy codebases and implementing data replication patterns or ETL pipelines.
• Expertise in database security principles and best practices.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across engineering, product, and executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with enterprise financial systems, such as ERPs, GL platforms, or FP&A reporting tools.
