Salary: $195,000 – $290,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Build and ship AI tooling ranging from short-term productivity wins to long-term autonomous agent capabilities.
• Design and build sandboxed, containerized environments where AI agents can operate autonomously and iterate on solutions.
• Develop multi-agent orchestration systems, including CI-fixing agents and SRE context agents to reduce toil.
• Enable non-engineers to leverage AI tools through purpose-built workflows and low-code/no-code interfaces.
• Optimize AI-aware developer infrastructure, including MCP servers and prompt engineering frameworks.
• Deploy and maintain the infrastructure supporting AI workflows to ensure high availability and performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of shipping production systems.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with a backend lean and ability to navigate frontend codebases.
• Deep familiarity with modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
• Strong product thinking with the ability to translate ambiguous problems into technical design docs.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with a wide range of technical abilities.
• Must be based in or near Los Angeles or San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Experience with agent sandboxing and containerized execution environments.
• Knowledge of multi-agent orchestration, LLM APIs, and observability.
• Experience with prompt engineering at scale.
