Location: Must be authorized to work in the United States. This is a fully remote role with an optional hybrid setup (Tuesday/Wednesday in office) for those near NYC or Reston, VA.
Salary: $153,000–$166,000

What you will do
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective software solutions using modern design patterns.
- Architect event-driven cloud services and intelligent automations to modernize workforce operations.
- Develop and maintain robust integrations with external APIs and AI/LLM platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure to elevate engineering standards.
- Participate in and lead Agile SCRUM ceremonies and peer code/design reviews.
- Implement AI infrastructure, including guardrails, secrets management, and access controls for LLM-based systems.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of production-level software development experience owning the full feature lifecycle.
- Authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AWS Serverless technologies.
- Practical experience with AI infrastructure, LLM-based systems, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain robust integrations with external APIs.
- Ability to travel 3–5 times per year to NYC or Reston, VA.
