What you will do

• Develop and implement hardware and software testing procedures to support various development teams.
• Lead the establishment of a state-of-the-art testing arena for evaluating autonomy and data capture capabilities.
• Capture and analyze testing data to create benchmark performance metrics.
• Assume responsibility for approving production-grade software releases based on quality and reliability standards.
• Build internal tooling for operational workflows, including commissioning, deployment, and servicing.
• Write clear documentation and specifications to ensure effective tool adoption across stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and/or Go, and comfort working across a multi-language codebase (Python/Go/C++).
• Strong experience with Linux-based systems and command-line operations.
• Very good version control experience with Git.
• Experience distributing internal tools using Docker and GitHub Releases.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across tooling, systems, and hardware-adjacent workflows.
• Must be willing to work predominantly onsite in Wallingford or Oxford.

Nice to have

• Experience within robotics, automotive, high-tech manufacturing, or similar environments.
• Experience programming on devices.
