QA Engineer (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

QA Engineer (Cybersecurity): Ensuring the stability of software updates across the hirify.global product suite with an accent on troubleshooting software issues and automating systems. Focus on identifying and diagnosing platform issues for the EMAIL product and collaborating between support and development teams.

Location: Hybrid (Must be based in or be able to commute to the Cambridge office, UK, 2 days a week)

What you will do

• Troubleshoot software issues and ensure stability of updates across the product suite.
• Focus on the EMAIL product, identifying and diagnosing reported issues within the platform.
• Act as a primary liaison between the Support and Development teams.
• Develop, configure, and automate systems and services using scripting.

Requirements

• Proficiency in problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Familiarity with Linux command lines and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
• Networking knowledge, including TCP, UDP, DNS, and the ability to troubleshoot related problems.
• Understanding of core Unix system components such as services, package manager, and time daemon.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others and work independently.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in DevOps or QA roles.
