QA Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Cambridge Office, United Kingdom; hybrid attendance required 2 days per week

What you will do

• Identify and diagnose new and reported issues across the hirify.global platform.
• Ensure the stability of software updates across the product suite as part of the Release Engineering team.
• Focus on troubleshooting the email product.
• Liaise between development and support teams to resolve software issues.
• Develop, configure, and automate systems and services.
• Take on small projects involving scripting and process improvement.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with Linux command-line tools and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Networking knowledge, including TCP, UDP, DNS, and related troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Unix services, package managers, and time daemons, with experience solving related problems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work independently.
• Commitment to continual learning.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in DevOps or QA roles.
