What you will do
- Serve as the primary technical contact for Blue Planet customer cases, focusing on UAA.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production and non-production issues.
- Develop Unix/Shell scripts to automate monitoring, data collection, and alarm generation.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and document technical resolutions.
- Collaborate with PLM and R&D teams to inform future product enhancements based on customer feedback.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UK
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software technical support, preferably in telecom or network management.
- Strong proficiency in Linux, Shell scripting, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Python, and debugging tools like tcpdump and jstack.
- Understanding of networking protocols and APIs including SNMP, Netconf, REST, and Telemetry.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenShift.
- Exposure to fault and performance analytics, GenAI, or Agentic AI.
- Prior experience with telecom vendors or network management systems.
