Senior Manager, US Donation Management

Location: New York, NY, USA HQ; the role may require working remotely full- or part-time. Compensation ranges apply to US-based candidates.

What you will do

• Oversee US gift processing, donor-intent capture, fundraising attribution, programmatic allocation, and timely financial reporting.
• Establish and improve workflows across internal systems, third-party platforms, fundraising databases, Finance, and Business Operations.
• Maintain data quality, accurate donation records, reporting processes, and gift-processing guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with financial, legal, credit-card, audit, IT, PCI, donor-data security, and privacy standards.
• Manage external gift-processing vendors and support cases submitted by fundraising teams.
• Lead, mentor, and professionally develop a team of five employees while supporting global fundraising operations projects.

Requirements

• 6+ years of direct gift-processing experience in a medium or large nonprofit organization.
• 4+ years of supervisory experience leading a team.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and improving external vendor and consultant productivity.
• Knowledge of fundraising systems, workflows, data integrity, quality control, financial controls, audits, PII security, privacy compliance, and nonprofit fundraising regulations.
• Experience with Salesforce or an equivalent modern CRM, plus proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, collaboration, and judgment skills, including the ability to protect confidential donor and business information.
