What you will do
- Lead the transition from fully insured to self-funded health insurance, including risk analysis and stakeholder communication.
- Design competitive health, dental, and vision plans tailored to US employees.
- Manage the US benefits budget, forecasting costs and reporting variances to leadership.
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for benefits partners including ExperINS and Deel.
- Oversee the 401(k) plan, including compliance testing and annual 5500 filings.
- Ensure all US benefit programmes comply with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA.
Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive benefits experience focused on US health and welfare plans.
- Direct knowledge of self-funded health plan structures and TPA relationships.
- Experience building financial models for benefits cost analysis and budget management.
- Proficiency in US benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA).
- Experience with global HR/payroll platforms, preferably Deel.
- Must be based in the USA.
Nice to have
- Experience in a global or multinational company.
- CEBS or CBP designation.
- Previous experience transitioning a company to self-funded health insurance.
- Familiarity with ExperINS or similar healthcare consulting relationships.
