What you will do

  • Lead the transition from fully insured to self-funded health insurance, including risk analysis and stakeholder communication.
  • Design competitive health, dental, and vision plans tailored to US employees.
  • Manage the US benefits budget, forecasting costs and reporting variances to leadership.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for benefits partners including ExperINS and Deel.
  • Oversee the 401(k) plan, including compliance testing and annual 5500 filings.
  • Ensure all US benefit programmes comply with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of progressive benefits experience focused on US health and welfare plans.
  • Direct knowledge of self-funded health plan structures and TPA relationships.
  • Experience building financial models for benefits cost analysis and budget management.
  • Proficiency in US benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA).
  • Experience with global HR/payroll platforms, preferably Deel.
  • Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a global or multinational company.
  • CEBS or CBP designation.
  • Previous experience transitioning a company to self-funded health insurance.
  • Familiarity with ExperINS or similar healthcare consulting relationships.
