TL;DR

Benefits Manager (HR Operations): Leading the strategy, administration, and continuous improvement of global benefits programs with an accent on operational rigor and compliance. Focus on optimizing self-insured benefits footprints, managing vendor relationships, and enhancing the overall employee benefits experience.

Location: Must be based in the United States. Remote work is welcomed, with priority given to candidates in hub cities (Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco).

Salary: $120,000 – $155,000 + Equity

What you will do

  • Lead day-to-day administration of global benefits programs and provide timely support for employee claims and appeals.
  • Optimize self-insured benefits footprints through rigorous, ongoing data review and analytics.
  • Own key operations including enrollments, terminations, new hire orientations, and offboarding records.
  • Partner with external vendors and brokers to ensure strong service delivery and resolve operational issues.
  • Maintain compliance with benefits-related regulatory obligations, audits, and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Total Rewards team to develop scaled employee communications and education programs.

Requirements

  • Deep experience in benefits administration, benefits program management, or HR operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data and metrics to drive decisions.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills to influence cross-functional partners.
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environments.
  • Proven track record of building and improving operational workflows.
  • Must be based in the USA.
