TL;DR

Location: Must be based in the US (Remote or Hybrid in Minneapolis)

Salary: $90,200 - $139,800

What you will do

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for health, welfare, and voluntary benefit programs.
  • Partner with leadership to lead implementation, analysis, and administration of complex benefit programs and annual renewals.
  • Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and evaluation of cost trends to develop data-driven recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
  • Manage day-to-day vendor relationships, including service delivery, performance monitoring, and contract reviews.
  • Provide consultative support for complex benefits inquiries and support cross-functional communication initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the US.
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of benefits-focused HR experience (or Master's and 3+ years).
  • Proven experience managing third-party vendors and service delivery.
  • Working knowledge of benefits-related compliance and regulations (ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA).
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with HRIS platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

  • Experience with global benefits administration (Canada, Philippines, Europe).
  • Experience with Workday software.
