What you will do

• Implement and refine the Risk Management Framework to ensure it remains effective and compliant.
• Manage regular risk identification workshops and conduct horizon scanning for emerging threats.
• Develop and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to provide early warning signals.
• Maintain the Enterprise Risk Register and ensure risk ratings are updated based on internal and external changes.
• Partner with Internal Audit to develop and maintain a Combined Assurance Map.
• Design engaging risk awareness programs and dashboards to visualize risk trends for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in risk management, preferably within Fintech or Banking.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, PowerBI, or Tableau.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into evidence-based risk insights.
• Ability to work onsite in Cape Town.
• Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to have

• Experience with scenario-based risk analysis.
• Knowledge of regulatory landscapes in the financial services sector.
• Experience in bridging the gap between technical/product teams and executive leadership.
