What you will do
- Execute high-quality outbound motions targeting strategic and large enterprise accounts in Japan.
- Convert product usage, inbound interest, and pilot activity into qualified enterprise pipeline.
- Partner with Account Directors on account strategy, multi-threading, and deal progression.
- Lead discovery sessions to uncover business priorities and assess enterprise readiness.
- Build and iterate on AI-enabled GTM workflows to scale prospecting and qualification.
- Provide local market feedback to HQ to improve regional playbooks.
Requirements
- Native or near-native Japanese proficiency required.
- Business-level English proficiency required for cross-functional collaboration.
- 7-10 years of total work experience with 3-5+ years in B2B SaaS or technology sales.
- Proven track record in generating pipeline through outbound and inbound channels.
- Experience engaging with technical stakeholders such as Engineering, IT, and Data teams.
- Strong ownership and ability to operate in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in full-cycle sales or closing roles.
- Background in selling into regulated industries like Financial Services, Life Sciences, or Retail.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools and translating them into business value.
- Ability to act as a bridge between local market needs and global HQ.
