TL;DR

Interim Head of Brand & Creative (EdTech): Leading creative strategy and visual identity to drive growth and brand consistency with an accent on performance-driven design and AI-integrated workflows. Focus on managing high-stakes IP collaborations, optimizing creative asset production, and developing a high-performing team during a one-year maternity cover.

Location: Must be based in Germany or the UK, with a preference for proximity to Munich, Berlin, or London.

Salary: €73,000–€85,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Take commercial ownership of visual performance and brand identity to drive growth metrics.
  • Lead and develop a team of designers and marketing managers in a data-informed culture.
  • Sign off on brand frameworks, design systems, and high-stakes IP collaborations.
  • Implement agile, AI-driven workflows to boost creative efficiency and asset production.
  • Manage external spending and freelance talent pipelines to ensure seamless execution.
  • Act as the strategic bridge between internal departments and external IP partners.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in brand or creative roles within the D2C ecosystem.
  • Professional fluency in English is required.
  • Proven track record in senior leadership and team development.
  • Deep expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Google Suite.
  • Strong analytical foundation in performance marketing metrics.
  • Experience integrating AI tools into creative pipelines.

Nice to have

  • Strong design background.
  • Direct experience in the children’s or educational industry.
  • German language skills.
