TL;DR
Network Engineer - Juniper Focused (Juniper/network operations): Maintaining core network availability, provisioning customer services, and supporting engineering teams with an accent on fault isolation, routing, switching, and network monitoring. Focus on configuring Juniper, Cisco, and Adtran devices, troubleshooting complex TCP/IP environments, developing monitoring tools, and supporting 24x7 core network operations.

What you will do
- Maintain monitoring systems and ensure availability and performance of core network services.
- Troubleshoot faults, isolate problems, implement corrective actions, and escalate issues to network engineering when needed.
- Provision and configure core network devices, IP assignments, DNS, NNI ports, services, monitoring tools, and controlled network changes.
- Manage network equipment builds, installations, configurations, hardware audits, security audits, and configuration audits.
- Coordinate with third-party suppliers and collaborate with technical support, provisioning, sales, and engineering teams.
- Write custom monitoring plugins, configure graphing, maintain NOC documentation, and participate in the 24x7 call-out rotation if required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in network operations.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP routing protocols, including STP, VRRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and IPSec.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Adtran routing, switching, and firewall devices, plus WAN technologies.
- Experience with VoIP, VPNs, security protocols, centralized device monitoring, and network troubleshooting.
- Strong familiarity with Linux operating systems and networking.
- JNCIA or CCNA certification is required; JNCIP or CCNP is preferred.

- Experience with SD-WAN deployment.
- JNCIP or CCNP certification.
