Salary: $164,000 – $300,000 annually

What you will do

• Draft and negotiate complex SaaS, enterprise license, and API integration agreements.
• Advise on U.S. federal government contracting, including FAR/DFARS compliance and data rights.
• Develop standardized contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation frameworks to improve scalability.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to align licensing models with commercial objectives.
• Support Sales and Business Development in structuring high-impact commercial and public sector deals.
• Drive legal operations by implementing AI-enabled contracting tools and process automation.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in Colorado or Virginia (or eligible for admission).
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience in software licensing and federal procurement.
• Must be a U.S. citizen (due to government contracting and ITAR requirements).
• Deep expertise in FAR/DFARS and commercial software contracting.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience advising on data rights, export controls, and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Experience leading legal operations or implementing AI-enabled contracting tools.
