What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair plant electrical equipment and components in a timely manner.
• Utilize electrical schematics to perform maintenance and system analysis.
• Perform electrical system layouts and installations, including conduit and wire sizing.
• Maintain and demonstrate understanding of electrical feed and distribution systems from substation to motor.
• Collaborate with line mechanics to perform system analysis and solve long-term technical problems.
• Participate in the electrical apprentice program and work towards a journeyman electrical license.

Requirements

• At least one year of electrical experience with hirify.global or three years of industrial electrical experience.
• Ability to pass a written basic electrical aptitude test.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak demand periods.
• Commitment to safety protocols and professional workmanship.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Journeyman Electrician License.
• Basic knowledge of PLC systems and ladder logic programming.
• Experience with AC and DC power systems and instrumentation.
• Ability to install power supply wiring for conveyors and programmable controls.
