Test Supervisor (Electrical Testing)

Location: 100% in-office in San Antonio, Texas, United States. The role will be temporarily based in northeast San Antonio before moving to the permanent Brooks location at 7515 Inner Circle Dr., San Antonio, Texas 78235.

What you will do

• Lead daily activities of Test Technicians and Test Leads across product lines.
• Coordinate electrical testing, including Hi-Pot, Megger, functional, relay, current injection, and system validation testing.
• Align test execution with production schedules and manage throughput, bottlenecks, downtime, rework, and first-pass yield.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations involving wiring, control logic, components, test failures, and quality issues.
• Develop and improve test procedures, work instructions, equipment utilization, and standard processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and customers during Factory Witness Testing and technical issue resolution.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical testing, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Strong experience with electrical test equipment and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of electrical systems, switchgear, schematics, wiring diagrams, control logic, and test methods.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, PPE, UL standards, customer specifications, and safe testing practices.
• Ability to work in a shop or warehouse environment, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, and perform bending, squatting, crawling, and climbing.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with medium-voltage or power systems.
• Familiarity with automated test systems such as LabVIEW and PLCs.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing or structured problem-solving.
