Licensed Electrician

Location: Alexandria, Louisiana, United States; fully on-site with no travel

Salary: $30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on facility equipment and electrical systems.
• Complete corrective and emergency maintenance repairs, inspections, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Install conduit, cable runs, and new or replacement electrical equipment.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting plant electrical systems and apparatuses.
• Maintain safe and efficient operation of facility equipment while following established procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or trade school equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical repair and maintenance.
• Active Louisiana state electrician license.
• Knowledge of medium- and low-voltage motor controls, switchgear, electric circuits, and protective relays.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications, use precision testing instruments, hand tools, and power equipment.
• U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency, proof of U.S. work eligibility, required screenings and clearances, and the ability to speak, read, and write English.
