What you will do

• Review, red-line, and negotiate commercial contracts including customer agreements, SaaS terms, and data processing agreements.
• Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to identify legal risks and balance them with deal velocity.
• Evolve standard templates and a transportation-specific contract playbook to drive consistency.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Bank partners on provisions related to payments, data security, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify recurring redline themes to proactively recommend improvements to negotiation strategies.
• Support contract process improvements, including workflow optimization and intake triage.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Valid and active law license issued by a state bar (including any U.S. territory or the District of Columbia).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing attorney.
• Demonstrated strength in commercial contract review, red-lining, and negotiation.
• Ability to clearly communicate legal risk to non-legal stakeholders.
• Experience with transportation, logistics, or fintech strongly preferred.
