What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad portfolio of commercial agreements, including MSAs, SaaS, cloud subscriptions, and software licenses.
• Lead end-to-end vendor procurement contracting from risk triage through negotiation and signature.
• Support the Sales organization on merchant and partner agreements, including pricing schedules and bespoke enterprise deals.
• Negotiate technology agreements covering payments infrastructure, AI/ML services, hosting, and developer tools.
• Review and negotiate data protection agreements (DPAs) and security exhibits in coordination with Privacy and InfoSec teams.
• Maintain and optimize contract templates, playbooks, and CLM tooling to scale legal support.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5–8+ years of combined law firm and/or in-house experience focused on commercial contracts.
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating MSAs, SaaS, and vendor procurement contracts at scale.
• Required experience leveraging LLM tools (e.g., Claude) to enhance productivity and research.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial risk, indemnification, IP ownership, and SLA frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience negotiating DPAs and SCCs under GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other U.S. state privacy laws.
• Prior in-house experience at a fintech, payments, or regulated technology company.
• Experience with CLM platforms such as Ironclad or Agiloft.
• Exposure to AI/ML vendor contracting and emerging AI governance issues.
