What you will do

• Act as the primary legal advisor to the People Team on hiring, performance management, and terminations.
• Provide proactive counsel on employment law compliance, specifically for non-exempt employee populations.
• Manage regulatory investigations, privacy matters, and information security compliance.
• Draft and negotiate employment agreements, offer letters, and commercial contracts.
• Develop and scale AI-driven workflows and agents to multiply legal team effectiveness.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 8–10+ years of legal experience with dedicated expertise in U.S. employment law.
• Prior in-house legal experience, preferably within a startup or high-growth technology company.
• Proven fluency and daily use of AI tools as a core part of legal research and drafting.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
