TL;DR

Senior Sales Engineer (ERP): Driving the European Sales Engineering team and acting as a technical account leader for supply chain management solutions with an accent on pre-sales strategy, product demonstrations, and ERP subject matter expertise. Focus on mentoring the team, ensuring technical integrity of bid proposals, and managing complex client requests to drive sales growth.

Location: Must be based in or near Breukelen, Netherlands. The role is hybrid with in-office attendance required 2 days per week and involves on-site client visits.

What you will do

  • Lead product demonstrations and technical presentations for complex, multi-product solutions.
  • Analyze customer needs and provide expert recommendations as an ERP subject matter expert.
  • Create and support bid proposals while identifying additional sales opportunities.
  • Act as the primary technical resource for complex client requests and sales support escalations.
  • Mentor and coach the European Sales Engineering team to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Ensure technical integrity and consistency across all active sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch required (Spanish, French, or German are a plus).
  • Proven experience in IT project management, consulting, and solution implementation.
  • Ability to manage complex supply chain sales cycles with high impact and credibility.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adjust tone and engage cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership, relationship-building, and self-driven initiative.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in CPG, Retail, or Supply Chain sectors.
  • Knowledge of e-Invoicing solutions.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
