Software Engineer – Simulation Backend (AWS)

What you will do

• Architect and implement backend services for managing and orchestrating simulation jobs at scale.
• Design efficient data storage and retrieval pipelines using S3, Postgres, and Redis.
• Build and maintain distributed messaging systems with Kafka for event-driven pipelines.
• Define infrastructure as code with Terraform to automate deployment and scaling in AWS clusters.
• Collaborate with simulation engineers and infrastructure teams to ensure robust integration and performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building backend services in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go; Python is preferred.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, including S3 and EKS, Redis, Kafka, Postgres, and Terraform.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
